Mobile functionality (for end-users)
- Price Check - Check current prices and quantities on hand
- Label Printing to Backoffice or Belt Printer
- Stock Take - Scanning / Item count
- Purchase Orders - creating purchase orders on the fly
- Picking - scanning items that are destined for transfer - outs (from one store to another - e.g. from Store to warehouse or vice-versa)
- Receiving - Receive items on purchase orders into the store database at goods in
- Q - Busting - scan customer basket while they are in a long line ready for final checkout at the till
System requirements:
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) version 5.0 or later to run the Mobility web service
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1
- Requires a Wireless Access Point (WAP) - 802.11 b/ g
- Software downloaded to Mobile device using Microsoft ActiveSync
