These Avery Berkel XM100 scales have now been replaced by the
Avery Berkel XTs100 scales
The XM100 weighing scale features AVR (Automatic Variable Resolution) and has capacites of either 15 kg or 30 kg. This monobloc model incorporates a cassette to print labels and a receipt printer in the base.
The XM100 electronic weighing scale is ideal for use with goods that are pre-packaged at the rear of the store. The XM100 is a popular choice with butchers. The meat can be pre-packed and weighed on the XM100; a label is then printed that includes the weight, price, date of packaging, and best before date.
Weighing Scale Accuracy
The XM 100 features unique patented technology (ValuMax) that detects when the scale is not level. Levelling scales is a tricky operation and they often fall out of level over time. Research has shown that on average, scales are 1.5º out of level, meaning that weights recorded are incorrect. The laws of physics dictate that this always results in lower prices being charged and reduces the retailer's profit. By sensing the angle of tilt - then automatically correcting the weight reading, this makes sure that you never give products away, thereby ensuring the correct price is charged every time. Viewed over the scale's lifetime, the increase in profit from ValuMax alone can be equivalent to the purchase price of the scale. Just look for the 'V' on the scale display and you'll know that XM is making you money.
